The dog lies beside me, its droopy eyes staring at nothing and its droopy ears so close I can't help but reach out and touch it, gurgling nonsense at the basset hound. Its jaws find my hand, biting down, and I scream and cry, more out of confusion and pain as my father drags the droopy dog away, spitting anger at the creature as it stares up at him with eyes so big. Before the dog knows it, he's taken by others, sold for what it has done, and stares out the rear window of the car, sadness in its droopy eyes as it's taken from its home, never to return.

Around 2002 we move from our small house to a bigger one on the mountainside. It is closer to my elementary school, where I am accepted into the Magnet program. My first day of school is scary. Likes: Reading, writing stories, writing poems (more of a side hobby, really), drawing, doodling (yes, this gets its own section because most of what I do is doodling), making earrings (a lot of the earrings I 'own' I've actually made), anime/manga, and people who actually bother to post comment on my deviations (I love those people to death).

Dislike: People who are afraid of people who are different, milk, homework (I'm probably supposed to be doing homework right now ;P), people who press the comment option in polls, but never comment, and procrastinating (even though I do it ALL the time).
